  1. LICENSE AGREEMENT
  2.  
  3. If you keep the Software, You are agreeing to the terms of this
  4. Agreement. Use of the Software is subject to this agreement. If
  5. you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, return this 
  6. package to Elibrium or the location where you obtained it for 
  7. a refund.
  8.  
  9. Elibrium grants you a non-exclusive right to use this copy of 
  10. the Software and accompanying materials according to the 
  11. following:
  12.  
  13. You May
  14. a) use and install the Software on only one computer at a time;
  15. b) make one (1) copy of the Software for backup purposes; and
  16. c) transfer the Software from one computer to another so long 
  17.    as the Software is neither used on nor copied onto more than
  18.    one computer at a time (except for the same user's business 
  19.    and home computer)
  20.  
  21. You May Not
  22. a) modify, reverse engineer, or copy (except for the backup 
  23.    copy) the Software or accompanying materials;
  24. b) rent or transfer the Software
  25.  
  26. LZW compression is licensed under U.S. Patent No. 4,558,302 and
  27. foreign counterparts. Use of LZW outside of this stand-alone 
  28. software product for your personal computers or workstations is
  29. not permitted unless a separate license is obtained in writing
  30. from Unisys. Any purchase and/or use of licensed LZW compression
  31. within this stand-alone software product does not give 
  32. authorization or permission to use this compression format in
  33. any other method or activity involving use of LZW unless a 
  34. separate license is obtained in writing from Unisys.
  35.  
  36. This license is not a sale. Title and copyrights to the 
  37. Software and accompanying materials remains with Elibrium and 
  38. its licensors. Any breach terminates this Agreement.

  40. LIMITED WARRANTY, DISCLAIMER, AND LIMIT OF LIABILITY
  41.  
  42. If at any time the Software fails to operate as described in 
  43. the documentation, simply return the original disks to 
  44. Elibrium, and Elibrium will replace the Software at no charge
  45. to you or refund your purchase price, at Elibrium's option. 
  46. Elibrium and its licensors do not warrant your data, that the
  47. Software will meet your requirements, or that the operation 
  48. will be uninterrupted or error free.

  50. THE WARRANTY ABOVE IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS, EITHER EXPRESS OR
  51. IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES
  52. OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME
  53. STATES HAVE LAWS THAT MAY RESTRICT OR PROHIBIT THE LIMITATIONS
  54. SET FORTH ABOVE AND YOUR RIGHTS UNDER LAW MAY VARY ACCORDING TO
  55. THE LAWS OF YOUR STATE.

  57. Elibrium and its licensors shall not be liable for any 
  58. incidental or consequential damages, including loss of data,
  59. lost profits, cost of cover, or other special or indirect
  60. damages. Your rights under law may vary.
  61.  
  62. US GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  63.  
  64. The Software and documentation are provided with Restricted 
  65. Rights. Use duplication, or disclosure by the Government is
  66. subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii)
  67. of the Rights In Technical Data and Computer Software clause at
  68. DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the
  69. Commercial Computer Software - Restricted Rights at 
  70. 48 CFR 52.227-19 as applicable.

  72. Manufacturer is Elibrium, 2197 East Bayshore Road, Palo Alto
  73. CA 94303-3219.

  75. This license agreement and limited warranty will be governed by
  76. the laws of the state of California. If any provision of this
  77. agreement is found void or unenforceable, the remainder of the
  78. agreement shall remain valid and enforceable.
